Arezzo, September 13, 2025 – Regional elections, Cerboni (FdI): “The region deserves a turning point: giving a voice to the local area and businesses” “If the regional economy isn't relaunched, there won't be funding and transfers for healthcare and services. Therefore, a break with the left-wing government is needed.” “Arezzo needs strong and determined representation in the Region. My candidacy with Fratelli d'Italia stems from the desire to put the real needs of citizens, families, and businesses at the center, after years of regional policies that have penalized our region.” Alessandro Cerboni, candidate for the Tuscany Regional Council for the Brothers of Italy party, adds: "Our province has always been the beating heart of Tuscany's productive fabric, but too often Florence has forgotten its importance. Goldsmithing, fashion, agriculture, tourism, and commerce: these are sectors that provide jobs and wealth, yet they have had to face international crises, suffocating bureaucracy, and a lack of strategic investments alone. The Region must change course and become an ally of businesses, simplifying regulations, facilitating access to credit, and supporting innovation and exports. Without a clear industrial policy, our excellence risks losing competitiveness, and young people will continue to seek opportunities elsewhere." Cerboni also highlights other crucial issues: "Healthcare and infrastructure can no longer be managed superficially. Endless waiting lists and overstretched hospitals are the symbol of a collapsing system: Arezzo deserves efficient healthcare services, close to citizens and local communities. At the same time, without safe roads, modern connections, and adequate transportation, no business can truly grow. The Region must finally treat the province with the same attention it gives to metropolitan areas. And then there are the worlds of telecommunications, web development, artificial intelligence, and scientific research: our region has already hosted similar businesses and can once again play a leading role thanks to its significant human resources and advanced technical expertise. Special attention must also be paid to the recovery and processing of rare earths and noble metals: the largest centers are in our province and generate a total turnover of nearly €20 billion. And he concludes: "The commitment must be clear: to work with professionalism, listening, and concreteness. Businesses must find the Region an ally, not an obstacle. Without a strong economy, it is impossible to provide adequate services." Together with Alessandro Tomasi and the Brothers of Italy, we want to build a different Tuscany, finally capable of providing answers to its citizens. It's time to turn the page, and Arezzo can be a protagonist in this change."
